- Lead Storytelling Initiatives: Help caregivers share their lived experiences through public testimony, media campaigns and storytelling workshops.
- Design Engagement Strategies: Develop and lead culturally responsive outreach plans, including town halls, listening sessions and advocacy trainings.
- Support Legislative Action: Collaborate with NMCC’s policy and advocacy team to understand/internalize policy directions, then to coordinate caregivers in legislative hearings, lobby days and civic education events.
- Champion DEI: Ensure all organizing efforts reflect NMCC’s commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility.
Ideal Candidate
- Passionate advocate with lived or professional experience in caregiving, community organizing and social justice.
