Office Manager
Based in Glendale, CA
Job Summary:
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Office Manager to run our union office. The ideal candidate will provide full administrative support for the Glendale Teachers Association.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring efficient office operations and providing full administrative support for the Glendale Teachers Association
- Work under the direct supervision of the Association President and/or designee and also provide support for the GTA’s Executive Director
- Attend GTA related meetings and appropriate office trainings as needed
- Compile information and create/maintain databases
- Basic bookkeeping and accounting
- Other related duties as assigned
Skills:
- Time management and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Knowledge of Google Suite for organizing documents
- Knowledge of QuickBooks for basic bookkeeping
- Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with educators
- Excellent phone etiquette
- Experience in front desk operations to manage tasks effectively
- Ability to manage calendars accurately and coordinate appointments smoothly
- Proficiency in data entry for maintaining accurate records
- Attention to detail for proofreading documents
Job Type: 35 hours per week.
Work Location: In person
Schedule: Day shift, No weekends
Pay Range: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour based on experience.
