Membership Coordinator

Based in Hartford, CT

 

CSEA SEIU Local 2001 is accepting résumés for the position of Membership Coordinator. Local 2001 has empowered public employees in Connecticut for over 70 years. We are a strong voice for public service, with over 20,000 members throughout the state.

The Membership Coordinator performs a variety of duties, including:

  • Post and reconcile union dues
  • Reconcile individual bargaining units on a regular basis
  • Communicating with Agencies/HRs to implement dues payment.
  • Communicating with members on membership status
  • Assist Staff Representatives with organizing projects
  • Assist with gathering membership information for various projects
  • Consistently recruits new union members 
  • Assist and support staff with various office needs
  • Performs related work as required

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in spreadsheets (Google Sheets)
  • Strong digital and technological literacy
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace software
  • Basic knowledge of Database, Oracle, SQL
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills are required
  • Must possess good written and oral communication skills..

Administrative experience is preferred, but highly qualified entry-level individuals are encouraged to apply.
